Join us for the Breaking Bread reception Monday evening for a chance to hear this remarkable woman. Enjoy local refreshments, entertainment and an account of her work on behalf of the people living in some of the war-torn corners of the world.
Donations will be accepted as we work to provide a salary for a teacher and related teaching supplies for Afghan girls.
 
Ms. Armstrong will be speaking to Sussex High School students on Tuesday.

Come and join fibre artist Alison Murphy as she introduces you to one and two dimensional needle-felting. This is a dry felting technique that is easy to learn and relaxing to practice. We’ll talk about different animal fibres and blending colour. Alison will also give you some ideas for introducing found materials and objects into your work. You’ll take home a few needles, some dyed fibre and great inspiration for your new fibre projects. A materials fee of $25, will cover the materials for the day as well as small kits for participants to take home.  Bring your lunch. We provide yummy, homemade cookies and tea or coffee.

Choose from one to two art stations to create lovely gifts for you or a friend. Sophia will be teaching students how to work with wire & pliers in the traditional style of tinkers. Learn to make beautiful wire flowers and / or pendants. Join Kathy in making clay decorations, angels or small sculptures... perhaps a simple nativity scene. Sue will be working with students creating small drawings and paintings that could be used on lovely cards. Studio fee dependent on materials used.

Art stations will be set up for children and adults to make art together with Sue Hooper facilitating. Through the weeks there will be stations to move through for drawing, painting, collage and clay with a variety of mediums and tools to choice from. Come and discover the excitement in a working studio together inspired by new creative friends. Donation pot for materials.
