Join us as we explore the world of nature art! Over the centuries, great artists in Canada and across the
world have used their media to reflect the natural world as they see it, and to explore how it makes them feel... now it's
your turn to do the same! We will explore the artistic worlds of nature artists such as the Canadian Group of Seven, Emily
Carr, Van Gogh, Monet, and others. Explore landscape painting and learn how to create indoor and outdoor organic sculptures.
We will take walks through fields, woods and gardens and create artwork using materials such as tempra and acrylic paints,
clay, charcoal and pastels and the natural world of found leaves, sticks and rocks. Materials included.

that you have no idea what to do with them? Using just simple hand held tools, sterling silver wire and all
those fascinating beads.... Trudy will teach you how to wrap, make rosary chain, make your own headpins and make your own
earhooks and simple clasp systems. Et Voila! You will be able to wear those beads homes in a simple, but original necklace,
bracelet and/or earrings of your own creation. If time allows, we will also explore the ways and means of making simple jump
ring bracelets. Bring any beads/supplies you have. Trudy will supply tools & materials and determine cost dependent on
the project, approx. $20 - $50

work of Andy Goldsworthy, developing 3-dimensional outdoor sculpture using the "art of nature", stones, wood, leaves, followed
by journal writing and a delicious lunch. The afternoon session will begin with yoga and move into expressive painting in
large format from your emotions and feelings from the yoga and nature morning.
To wrap up the day join us for an delightful
supper of colorful foods.
