Kings County Covered Bridge Festival

Make the most of the cooling days and changing colours in southern New Brunswick. Take a leisurely tour of our 16 covered bridges in Kings County, enjoying our shops and restaurants along the way.

 

Custom Bicycle Covered Bridge Tours

Guided Tours can be arranged with rentals or self guided to see several Covered Bridges on our scenic byways. Please call John McNair at Outdoor Elements on Broad Street in Sussex @ 506-433-3060 for info and reservations.

 

Custom Covered Bridge Canoe Tours Join us for a unique, on-water view of covered bridges as part of a leisurely paddle along one of our beautiful rivers. The Sussex Murals

While in the Sussex Area be sure to see the twenty-six panoramic murals that highlight the local area history. Internationally renowned mural artists have painted the Murals on various buildings throughout Sussex and Sussex Corner. Guided tours are available and maps with mural information can be purchased at the Town and Village offices as well as many downtown businesses.

 

Covered Bridge Visitor Information Centre

TCH # 2 exit 365, Coles Island NB. . . From Sussex take Route 10 to the Coles Island TCH Exit 365. There you will find the most unique Visitor Information Centre built from original covered bridge plans complete with pond underneath. It was built and is operated by the Kings County Tourism Association and offers award winning tourism service for south central New Brunswick including the Bay of Fundy. Stop by and take some great photos. 

 

Community Farmer’s Market

Vendors of fruit, vegetables, meat, crafts and home baking.
Hours from 8:00 am–1:00 pm every Friday
